= Quadralay's Workstation Specification =
Here's our current ideal specification for our own staff (developers, consultants, technical support) that require regular desktop conversions using any ePublisher component (!AutoMap, Express, Pro).

Keep in mind that our technical staff members need to be able to work within pristine [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VMware|VMware]] sessions running instances of large !AutoMap conversion jobs, while still working on other tasks. This setup allows our staff to use a single computer for all their daily activities.

For a server machine, Windows Server 2003 is fine, just be sure to disable unneeded services.
