The list items, instead of having one bullet, have three bullets. 

== Resolution ==

This happens because there is a list-item set under:

Paragraph Styles -> [stylename] -> HTML -> Properties -> Positioning -> Display

 * Set this to inherit from Parent property or "None".
 * Alternatively, go to Options ->Keep paragraph Numbering -> Set to Disabled
