Add ability to automatically update fields or variables into the Company Information

The feature I was thinking of is the ability to enter automatically updating "fields" or "variables" into the "company information." My use case is that rather than create a special page design, I simply put copyright data and publication date into the "company info" fields. However it would be nice if these entries were generalized such that date, time, etc. numbers can be automatically updated upon publish. (I would also hope any date would comply with locale formats, including texts if needed.)

We would also like this feature. We'd like to read the copyright from the DITA or Frame source and populate the copyright in the help footer based on that value. --Teresa, VMware.
