Add Prototype functionality for controlling style Options
Summary
The Prototype styles (Paragraph, Graphic, Table, etc.), which are very useful for defining common style defintions for Properties, would be equally useful for Options. In the absence of supporting this feature, make this lack of functionality clear to the user.
Detailed Description
Primary request - add Prototype functionality for controlling style Options.
Secondary request (in the absence of the primary) - find ways to make this lack of functionality crystal clear to the user. For example,
[a] In every manual entry where Prototype style is mentioned, include the caveat that is currently only found under "Organizing and Managing Styles". In this one manual location, the following note appears.
"Note: Child styles inherit only property values from a parent style. Child styles do not inherit additional features specified on the Options tab."
[b] Disable all Options when the Prototype style is selected.
[c] Provide immediate feedback if a user trys to change an Option for Prototype that indicates this is non-functional.
Use Cases
Any situation where multiple styles need to have the same Option value defined, especially if this value is changed (during stationery design, troubleshooting, etc.).
