Support conditions in Word tables
Summary
When a "hide" condition is applied to cells in Word tables, the cell content is hidden, but cell borders remain, as do any bullets.
Detailed Description
This problem has been experienced with PDF output but may also apply to other output formats. Because technical documentation relies heavily on tables, and tables often segregate information types in ways that lend naturally to conditional control, being able to render conditions on tabular content in ways that users expect is critical. Leaving empty cells is not only disorienting for users--it leads customers to question whether content has been omitted. As a result, they see a WebWorks solution as unacceptable. Please remove cell borders when a hide condition is applied to a row or column in a Word table.
