<new Marker for MiniTOC with the depth level as a parameter>
Summary
<What I suggest is a new Marker for MiniTOC with the depth level as a parameter. >
Detailed Description
<
I like the MiniTOC feature, but I do not want it to be exclusively based on paragraph style. There are places I want it and places I do not with the same Heading level. (I prefer not to make more Heading styles, but could if need be.) What I suggest is a new Marker for MiniTOC with the depth level as a parameter. Thus, putting a MiniTOC marker after a Heading 2 paragraph with parameter 3 will give a MiniTOC showing all the Level 3 headings (but not level 4) until the next Heading 2.>

BenAllums | I believe I understand this request. One point is not clear to me. You state "putting a MiniTOC marker after a Headering 2 paragraph with parameter 3 will give a MiniTOC showing all Level 3 headings (but not lever 4) until the next Heading 2". This behavior differs from ePublisher's current behavior. Right now, one specifies the number of sub-heading levels to display. So, a MiniTOC level of 1 applied to a Heading 2 paragraph will display all 2+1 = 3 level headings. I guess what I am saying is that the current MiniTOC levels in the Style Designer are relative. You describe a marker that uses absolute levels. Is that your intention? |
