PDF Generation and Word
Issue
When generating with newer versions of Word and ePublisher versions prior to 2012.1, there will be a problem in generating with PDF.
Solution
The easiest solution is to just upgrade to 2012.1 or higher, if that is not an option please do the following:
In Word 2007, Navigate to Office Button -> Word Options, For 2010 it is File -> Options
In the Options menu, navigate to Advanced > Web Options > Files > Update links on save
You may also have to Display > Update fields before printing
If you have already created your document, you may have to update the relative links with the following technique: go to Advanced > Show field codes instead of their values, and then search and replace to switch the absolute links to relative
Again, it may just be easier to upgrade.
