Module 1: Getting Started (15 minutes)

1. Get everyone logged with a proper Wiki name.
2. Create their Home page using the home page template.
3. Go over very basic editing:
   1. Use the GUI.
      1. Headers.
      2. Character styles.
      3. How to insert a link.

         • http://www.webworks.com/

      4. Attachment/Image.
         • you'll find an image on your desktop
      5. Tables.
      6. Cut/Copy/Paste.
      7. Search/Replace.

      b. Use the Cancel button!

4. Write a description of their favorite things.
5. Save changes.

Module 2: Navigation (5 minutes)

1. Recent Changes
   1. Review.
   2. Go back to your page.
   3. Change something. How about a link shortcut (Interwiki) like Customer or Order?
   4. Go back to Recent Changes.

   5. Click the next to your Page.

   6. Click Diff. See the change you made?
2. Searching
   1. Title search.
   2. Full text search.

3. Look at SiteNavigation (Title and Word Index)

   1. Add a personal navigation short-cut (Add Link) to SiteNavigation

Module 3: Creating Pages (5 minutes)

1. Create a personal use page.
   1. What does the URL look like?
   2. Is this really the only way to create a page? (another way is to make a link in the text!)

   3. name/!ToDo

   4. name/Private via a page template.
2. Review navigation:
   1. Recent Changes
   2. Title search.
   3. Full text search.
3. Go back to home page:

   1. [[Navitree(childtree)]] (does ToDo show up?)

   2. Delete ToDO, and Navitree updates too.

Break (10 minutes) foosball time!

1. Wiki links (Discuss and demo only)

   1. CamelCase

2. Link to other people's home pages:

Module 5: Wiki Etiquette (10 minutes)

1. Don't break Categories!

2. Editing versus commenting:
   1. Don't edit (change the main text) outside of your personal
      • or department space.
   2. Comment anywhere on the Wiki by appending:

   3. Invite easy commenting:

3. Tracking changes
