Missing DLL causes "Cannot Duplicate Document issue
Issue
User is getting FrameMaker "Cannot Duplicate Document" error in the log window
Solution
First, check to see if the "WebWorks" label is present in the menubar in Adobe FrameMaker. If you are missing this item, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the following directory for the ePublisher installation:
[program files]\WebWorks\ePublisher\[your version]\Adapters\FrameMaker
Copy the DLL that is appropariate for your FrameMaker version
Naviate to the FrameMaker version that you are using:
[program files]\Adobe\[yourfmversion]\fminit\Plugins
- Paste the DLL that is appropriate
- Repeat the steps as necessary for other versions of FM on the system
- Close and Reopen epublisher to generate with the DLL in place
