Creating Links outside of project structure

Issue

Customer wants to create a link to a file outside of the document

Solution

To do this you will have to make sure that the file gets copied over upon generation

  1. Go to frame document,
  2. Highlight "link", make sure that the text link has its own character style, otherwise the whole line will get hyperlinked
    1. Keystroke Ctrl + D
    2. Type in New character tag, "hyperlink"
    3. Click new format, click create
    4. Click Apply

  3. Go to special -> hypertext

  4. Command "Open File", message openfile example.pdf

  5. Generate
